Unlimited Escapism vol. 2

WORLD OF WARCRAFT : by Baron Soosdon

Here it is finally, the second part in my Unlimited Escapism series.

The movie features less and more. Less other games, more sceneries and more editing and tweaking. As some of you might have seen from the teasertrailer, I used an emulated server to create all the in-game shots. Before someone starts to flame about using a private server, lemme put some water there first Tongue

First of all, you can do lots of things with an emulator which is impossible (for exapmle camera angles) or hard with the viewer programs. Vice versa, the viewer programs allow you to do stuff which is impossible to do on a live/emulated realm. Playing WoW on a private server sucks ass, but for movie making these things are ace.

I used Unreal Tournament 2004 and Defcon in addition to WoW to create the movie. I also borrowed some FMV scenes from Final Fantasy X to make to give the movie some kickass. Also few nice explosions from Terminator 3: Rise Of The Machines found their way into the movie.
