Tsankawi is a largely unexcavated Anasazi pueblo from the 13th century located on a detached portion of Bandelier National Monument. It is easily reached from the nearby highway. Several other likely sites of buried ruins can be spotted in satellite imagery of the area between Tsankawi and the main Bandelier sites to the southwest.

  • Thanks for posting this. I'm heading to Santa Fe in July and will be visiting Bandelier. I wasn't sure about visiting Tsankawi, but now I am! Looks great.
