  • Where do you get the track from or is that made in house?

  • @jbm261 The rail track is just made of magnets. The superconductor is the little 'cart' going around the track. You have to cool the material down for it to superconduct, and when it warms up again, it stops superconducting and you see it fall down on the track again. When he takes it away from the camera he is dunking it in liquid nitrogen which is at about 77 kelvin to cool it back down.

  • i really need to know what are the materials used to make this surface or ground!!!!

  • I would like to know the materials you occupy in the video. that is material to the superconductor occupying? that is the rail material in which the superconductor is?

  • you can try to insulate it with polyurethane foam but will be hard to cool down
