  • These videos need to show alternatives!! Glass, stainless steel straws, glass, stainless steel takeout containers, growing gardens, making bread, hemp shower curtains, moon pads, compost, etc! Otherwise it just looks hopeless! It's not just a fight against plastic bags, but plastic in general! Also, should add into the health effects humans have with exposure to this stuff!

  • @bollockart can use "moon pads" for their cycle; a type of cloth pad that would actually save the woman a lot of money in the long wrong, be healthier, possibly ease cramps, and be much more comfortable than the plastic thing that is commonly used! People and companies who actually care about the environment usually make good quality items and consistently. Corporations are the ones benefiting from the use of plastic. We are told we are because it's convenient, but we are not benefiting. At all

  • @bollockart And if you find a small local bakery/meat shop, you are really putting money into your local economy and helping those people keep their jobs and that store stay open!! You can use cash and go directly to your bank when you want to pull out money. This actually discourages debt as well. You can even learn how to garden and make your own bread and soup stocks if you are very ambitious! Think how much less waste and clutter could be in your life without plastic!!! Even women can use

  • @bollockart your container. Bring your own To-Go cup. We can't really demand restaurants start using glass straws because of liability issues, I'm sure. But we CAN make a difference and, soon hopefully everyone will carry one and think- that's thousands of less plastic waste per year per person! Just by making that one change! And the great thing about this is when you support companies and stores that don't use plastic you are usually supported local stores or one that isn't using sweatshops.

  • @bollockart Surprised no one has addressed this! We CAN live without plastics!! More than likely your great grandfather did or your great-great one did. It's only been invented in the 1900s. Purchase glass straws and use that, bring your own glass/stainless steel containers for take-out, there are "hemp" shower curtains, purchase your fruits and veggies at the farmers market and bring your own reusable tote so no plastic at all is needed. Find a bakery/meat shop that will put stuff directly in

  • @ohm300mk2 Ermm...what? No, there was never a liberal spin on the plastic bag bans. And even if it can be used on 'rainy days' and 'all sorts of stuff', the point is that it pollutes the environment. Maybe you just don't like to think that the bag you're using WILL kill something in the ocean, and won't break down for another 1000 years. Maybe it's you that is demented, brainless and evil, simply because you refuse to accept facts. The plastic bag is an inefficient, wasteful and deadly product.

  • Thank you for this! It's a serious issue that needs to be addressed.

  • Great video and content.Have you seen johntbox1 on this site its a superb environmentally alternative to plastic bags check it out.

    Great work
