I can see how there would be psychological damage ... If I heard my live stalk squeeling from being chewed on, if I had to step through a river of mice while crushing them benieth my feet and - worse - if I witnessed the horror of my kid putting their tongue into the hole of a half eaten mouses head *gag* I don't think I would be able to sleep the same.

I'm sure the smell was beyond outrageous. I would be disinfecting my house for weeks after that.

I've lived in my house for 15 years. We've had mice twice. Both times I just put out some poison and they're gone within 2 or 3 days.
