  • will this work with my ps3/xbox360?? will they go 1080p???

  • It's capable of handling 1080p from HDMI connections on the XBox 360 and Playstation 3 consoles.

  • Funny how they didn't mention the contrast ratio. And no DVI wtf?

  • Contrast ratio is 800:1.

It's equipped with D-Sub ("VGA") and HDMI connections.

  • As a follow-up to my post last year, I'm happy to have bought this thing.

There's a slight backlight at the bottom, on black backgrounds, but most LCD have it and it can't be perfect at that price. I'm really happy to have it, gaming and movies are much more awesome and you can't beat the price.

  • yeah, i really don't like monitors which haven't been talked and reviewed about in public, i'll rather have a Dell st28 or a Lg 28"

  • @Tal435 It have DVI to HDMI and the aspect raitio is 16:10 (not 16:9) It's actually a really nice monitor! I love mine

  • @Lywald same here :D yesterday i got the HZ281 :) awesome too!

  • @EvanFuckingBinns shouldn't they include such a connection. I dont see why i would want this monitor if it doesnt include the standard connection for graphics cards. I just dont like going through more of a trouble just to get a monitor, that seems mediocre in the first place.

  • my biggest concern is the lack of DVI which is the standard in computing now. HDMI is the high end, and VGA is the ANCIENT low end, DVI is a must have now, and it lacks it.

  • @Ishykawa It's not, since 1200p would imply a 16:9 aspect ratio and progressive image. While it does have 1200px of height, there isn't much of a standard for a related 16:9 resolution. 2134x1200? Never heard of it.

It's 1080p for the sake of supporting that resolution natively (black bars). No one would care if it said something like "1200p" since no one knows what that is- people barely understand what 1080p means.

You can't just take the height in pixels of a display and add a P on the end.

  • It's not 1080p its 1200p.

  • I think it should ?! .... I also ordered that thing and I hope it will do ;-)

  • I got it 2 months ago from newegg it was on promotion 299 +free shipping.. i had to buy it..

Now I'm happy i have it
