Try playing the 45 rpm of "JET" on there. because my copy is a little too played out and the original fielity i allways thought was too compressed

Yup. The sound is straight off the built in amp of the record player into the speakers shown in the slide at the beginning of the vid. The "steroids" is the sub woofer amp on the 10 inch.

AS I do also! On Apple Records...just after the Beatles broke up and McCartney formed his own label!...this is SO exciting to me!
