If the U.S. really wanted to end poppy production in Afghanistan...it would have already happened. The entire National Guard Counter-Drug force was deployed to Afganistan at the beginning of the war. You really have to question why they were not allowed to eliminate the problem then...as a primary funding source for the Taliban.

Its because this war is not SUPPOSED TO END !!!! That would get in the way of profits for the Bush-Cheney War Inc. machine.....
