I find it hilarious that in this live video the lyrics are "ive got brains and I like to fuck" "shes got brains and she likes to fuck" rather then "she likes sex"

VERY early days of sequencers onstage - the musicians probably couldn't hear the backing tracks, so they got off time.

read the description:

""This specific show was an experiment that DEVO signed up for and, of course, went wrong. The sound man apparently thought he was correcting the sync on DEVO's backing track (the one on the film), when in reality, but the offset was supposed to be there to enable the band to keep sync. During "Speed Racer", the band begins to lose sync with the film"
