The Temptation of Jesus in the Wilderness: As the apostles testify: (Mark 1:12; Matthew 4:1-11; Luke 4:1-13)

After Jesus was baptized the Spirit led him into the wilderness, to be tempted by the Devil.

After a forty days fast the Devil approached him and said:
'If you are the Son of God, tell these stones to become bread'.
Jesus answered:
"It is written: Man does not live on bread alone, but on every word that comes from the mouth of God'."

The Devil then took Jesus to Jerusalem on the Temple and said:
'If you are the Son of God," he said, "Throw Yourself down. For it is written: "He will command his angels concerning You, and they will lift You up in their hands, so that you will not strike Your foot against a stone."
Jesus answered him:
"It is also written: 'Do not put the Lord your God to the test.'"

The Devil then took Jesus on the highest mountain and showed him all the kingdoms of the world and said:
"All this I will give you," he said, "if You will bow down and worship me."

And Jesus said:
"Away from me, Satan! For it is written: 'Worship the Lord your God, and serve Him only.'"

Then the devil left him, and angels came and attended him

Hold on.. JESUS was baptized by being plunged into the water and then taken out.. HE DID NOT HAVE WATER DRIP ON HIS HEAD. Don't be fooled people there is only one true baptism this film is giving false information.

The title is "Jesus" it was a miniseries on CBS, if I'm not mistaken in 1999. Starring Jeremy Sisto, Gary Oldman & Debra Messing. I've heard people refer to it as "Jesus 2000" tho.

the most stupid interpretation of bibel content i´ve ever seen. the actors are shit, the way of the scenescript is shit, the way of speaking the dialouges is so i think the greatest shit of all in this.
