tripped breaker can prevent warning lights from coming on so pilot does not know his gear didn't come up. new requirements include mirrors on wing tips and a window in the floor of the plane to allow visual comfirmation of the status of the wheel position. ease up on the pilot error comments many have died because of this malfunction.

He saw an endangered species fish,..and instead of properly double pumping the brakes, he slammed the brakes down to the floor!! endowed. The fish got away unscathed , because the water stopped the prop. He should still be cited though for causing a wake in a no wake zone, and friends don't let friends fly high ! and dude I'm sorry about that knob on the dash, it twisted off because I still couldn't hear my rock music over that darn engine noise !

Luckily this was seemingly warm weather and in an inhabited place. Had this been 34 degrees and in a remote area, hypothermia would have done them in unless they were wearing dry suits. No gear, No plane, No radio, No survival gear, No fire starting gear. On the bright side they may have been "up shit creek" but they were not without a paddle.
