In the late 90s, Michael Jackson befriended Central Indiana AIDS victim Ryan White. In the time since Ryan's death, his mother, Jeanne White-Ginder, said she stayed in touch with the King of Pop.

Ryan once said, "I don't like to be, you know, pitied. But I figure, you know, since this is the way the hand was dealt, I got to live this way and I'm gonna try to help anybody I can."

That was so beautiful. I'm sure Ryan told Michael that he was a Christian, and believed that God doesn't dislike homosexuals, instead seeing them as people He loves. I know I believe that too. :)

And also, the female journalist puts words in Jeanne's mouth in order to present Michael in a negative angle:

"She says Jackson felt sorry for the teen..." and "She admits however she always chaperoned Ryan to Neverland"

In this interview: /watch?v=lSPRxVLOjQE Jeanne contradicts these claims by saying Michael was not feeling sorry for Ryan, and that Ryan was going to Neverland by himself.

What a terrible report. Firstly they need to get their facts right:

- "In the late 1990's...". No, it was in the late 1980's.

- "Jackson wrote a song..." No, Michael did not write Gone Too Soon.

Wow. Michael just went above and beyond, didn't he? Calling her years after Ryans death just to say happy mothers day. That's incredible. He really was an amazing man. How twisted is it that he got accused of child molestation? Soooo twisted. RIP Michael and Ryan...

High school students need to learn about Ryan White. I remember the 1980's, and the kids with AIDS were barred from school (or had their houses burned down.)
