HOW do you describe this 'throwback' clip from a Church Convocation, an assembling of the saints from UK, JA and America at the Bethel First United Church Convocation in New York 1994. Bishop Dunn raises a chorus and the saints get happy, quicken, holla and praise Gawd in true JA style! It's GREAT to see how church USED to be... Whatever your Pentecostal Denomination, many of us can 'remember church being like this' Watch as the Spirit's Presence is felt via the song 'Safe in the Arms of God' -Aint Nuttin like ZION singing and praising in her Strength!!!

Check out the saints attire, the hats, the way they move to the beat, the steps, twists, skips, quickenings and turns! CLASSIC!!! OH thank God for the OLD Church!

Hi Yorstif, i more referred to the 'ole skool' approach and way of worship - there are still churches that Praise God in spirit and in truth but dont dress that way anymore, or play the music in that way anymore but it's allgood! The 'Remnant' maybe wider than you think....

I just buried my gramfather in jamaica on sunday and a little old lady sang this song so wonderful and i remembered this video when i heard her singing it.
