Using a 1200mAh battery instead of the N96's 950 mAh is no problem at all.

  • That's because they are cooperating with your local power plant....

  • Wow, very impressive.. I still don't know why Nokia put the 950mAh battery on the N96. It's hard to believe that they do that just for a thickness factor.

  • Love u india !!!

  • Everyone Type "Won" Before youtube.com

  • @kapullas indeed. It's weard, because by the 950 mAh battery they has got a lot of problems with the N96 device. I think if they made the phone 2 mm bigger and put the 1200 mAh battery in, the phone was even so hard solt, and they had not so much problems. **srry for bad english btw

  • Update the firmware!

  • my n 96 doesn last 10 hrs even if its left alone!!! it just goes off!! r u sure d solution is only d 6f?

  • im going to geta 1200 too, but how much battery life does that now give to the N96 with medium usage?

  • Dude, you're a genius and a lifesaver - I'm soooo getting a 1200!

  • 2 days!!!! You're very lucky 'cause even with very light use my N96 won't last a normal working day.

  • now, you see, I did this.

I bought a 1200mah battery and tried to fit it into my phone and obviously, it wouldn't fit without a struggle...

However, the battery will now fit after a slight modification without any bulges.

I'm now looking to get a 1450mah battery to try that to fit.
