Mountain rules, mostly because of Leslie West. Ozzy did a rundown of his 10 favorite guitarists ever and he had Leslie West #9.

Overweight or thin Leslie West always plays heavy!

They totally got screwed not being in the movie. Leslie was the first heavy guitar player as we would recognize it today (some would say the guy in Blue Cheer but they unfortunately sucked). He was the only guy Jimi Hendrix was worried about, he said in several interviews "do you think he's better than me?" (ref. Rolling Stone)

The guy introducing the band is exactly the same as from Woodstock II album but on the album they go into Blood Of The Sun, not this tune ("please welcome warmly with us , Mountain") and on the album it doesn't sound edited, so I don't know.
