Braid World 2 Speed - Test Run

This is just a test speed run of the World 2 in Braid. It's practice for a full game speed run, although it's just a tiny part.

Basically I have just recently finished my first playthrough, and done half of the speed challenges. Based on that you can assume that this is not a professional run. Mainly recorded to test HD uploading with hopefully low quality loss.

A lot of stupidity around 3:25, and my biggest screw-up section is around 3:55.

With a couple more tries I could get a satisfying time on world 2, but a full run wont come soon, as I have not the slightest idea of a path for the other worlds yet. My biggest problem area in the game is the same area covered by the second to last speed run available. I cannot figureout how to quickly get two goombas past the piranha plants, I got that piece in my normal playthrough by about five minutes of dropping the ring randomly.

Timer reads 4:01.82 when I hit the end of the world, 4:03.23 when I'm assembling the puzzle.

Recorded at full 720p resolution, 60fps. Reencoded using MainConcept AAV/AAC at 3Mb/s video and 128Kb/s audio, without dropping the resolution or framerate. How that will translate to YouTube I don't know.
