I made this one day when I was so ill, I could barely sit up. The microphone happened to be next to me, so I turned it on. This is actually a REAL prayer. Completely genuine. I was praying to humanity...

My Prayer
...Earth, sky, water... flesh, bone, soul... people.

Please

May we all live together, truly loving each other as a neighborhood as a community, as a family.

May we please hold each other.. as a lover, as a friend
as a sibling
as a parent
as a fellow human being
as a humanity.
May we please hold each other in the light.
May we please respect each step that has taken us to this point in life.

Weve all been brought to different places,
some of it is our own doing and a lot of of it is just the doing of life circumstances.
May we please love each other, hold each other and help each other, as lovers do.
Please god, please life, please earth, please humanity...

This prayer was created one night, as I was ill and hurting. I knew that there was hope somehow though. I knew that I had to share it in this beautiful song, this poem, this meditation piece; this prayer.
