  • i want to tach there! how?

  • Teaching here in america is very tough specially on the first year. You have to adjust to different culutures and teaching strategies. Our second year is much better since we have adjusted to the system here abroad. There are a lot of agencies that recruits teachers. Just browse in the OWWA website.

  • thank you for appreciating the presentation. Hoping that more Filipino will have the chance to work here in America. Indeed, it is a great place!

  • Para sa mga kababayan namin jan sa US..saludo ako sa inyo and mabuhay kaung lahat.

  • While the USA needs excellent math and science teachers and I'm sure these Filipino immigrants are excellent teachers, the school districts would have spent less money by getting already credentialled teachers to get additional credentials in math and sciences such as chemistry, physics, biology, and so on.

  • ¡Un saludo! Desde el Canal de Filipinas en español.

  • haha i know some of the people here, and i saw my husband...:D

  • You are right, teaching here in US is by far tougher than any other countries in the world. Even though it was a struggle in the 1st year but it's also handsomely rewarding interms of salary and benefits. I love teaching and am lucky enough to teach in one of the title 1 schools in Long Beach Unified School District in California. To the teachers out there, Hurray and Mabuhay!

  • wow that's a great one!

  • Baduy ng sounds...pero ok ang achievements mga teachers..^^

  • proud ako sa mga pinoy n pinay teachers! nice ang feeling kasi kita mo naman, masasaya pag nagkikita-kits! ingats kau jan!

  • Be great if some of the 40,000,000 citizens in the USA living below the povery line could have the opportunity to teach in LA.
