Because Mustangs werent discontinued....and your car was.....Mustangs have an unbreakable name, I don't even want to see those cheap-looking Supra's. And dont call me a redneck who drives a truck, I drive a Toyota, a Scion tC, but I dont consider it a sports car. I guess the important thing is that you like it though, who gives a rats ass what anyone else thinks if its fun for you.

I proved in my senior research paper that camaros were faster and stronger. I just recently purchased a 2000 V6 convertible mustang, it drives so nice...lol... but i also have a 69 z/28 rs/ss which is also amazing

Making a T56 will take a lot of work and I don't know if the 88GT's T5 use a hydraulic clutch like the GM T56. I believe you can find bell housings and maybe cross members to make them work though.

Also if you get the GT junk the B303 cam and get a nice custom one (a stock Cobra cam has more lift then the B303's do). Also the Trickflow heads if they are the street heads they have a ton of room for porting left in them.

Honestly I'm not pissed off. Your first comment made zero sense to me. Being a car guy (not just gm or ford as I've had a '74 Nova and a '94 Mustang GT) I thought I'd find out what you were trying to say. Yes the T5 is a garbage transmission. A stock 5.0 can snap the 3ed gear ring on them. I believe they are shorter then the T56. It may be cheaper to get a Tremec 3550 or something similar that would bolt it.

and im done with you i know what i have im a gm guy but im picking up a 88 gt day after thanksgiving with a 306 and twisted wedge heads and a b303 cam with the weak ass t5 so the t56 i took out of my camaro is going into that but i have to find everything out b/c i know the bell housing is different and idk bout the driveshaft either if u could help me out with that it would help i would rather get something from this rather than learning how to piss ppl off

the firebird was a 305 5 speed car. took the motor out put took a bare blocked bored it and stroked it the crank is a stock 400 crank but it has fordged rods and pistons. and the other one my camaro it came with 6 speed borge warner 6 speed but if u know anything about those they are rated about 350 hp less then the viper spec t56 and the camaro has the 2 stages of nitrous on it its all fordged inside with 18 degree heads

Wow he does know a little english. You just said stock crank. Your year car came with either a 305 or a 350 which would have been a stock crank. A 400 crank is not stock on your car. I know how to make a 383 out of a 350 block. You know they also use T56 transmissions in Corvettes and Mustang Cobras right?? Not just the Viper. It's not out of a Viper. Just a generic transmission, nothing special about it

So what you have 786 hp between both of your cars?? Which one has the 350 shot?? lol

and i have 2 cars my olderfirebird has a 383 4 bolt main from a 87 vette and my camaro 94 with the tranny from a viper adjustable coilovers the camaro is the one with the 396 i kept my firebird the way it was and u have those 2 cars mixed up both carburated not the tpi u just need to leave me alone whore

your a dumb fucker look at what i put i never said anything about the crack it was a 400 crank. 400 cracnk plus .30 over makes a 383 u dick head and yea a 396 crank is a bb crank now u just try and figure out how a lt1 350 block could be made a 396 so otherwise you just shut the fuck up you dont know what your talking about i couldnt hook the car in first or second gear its a stick car so lick my balls

1.) Seriously learn English. Don't try speaking it if you don't know it.

2.) You can not make a 350 into 383 with a stock 350 crank and rods and especially not a 396 and you can't use a 396 crank in a 350 either as it's out of a big block.

3.) 11.80's with a 786 hp 383 on a 350 shot of nitrous = weak. Really really weak. Unless you blew out your trans at the 60' mark and coasted through the finish line.

Know what your talking about before you start spewing your BS.
