I am a guy who is strongly against other guys abusing girls and women... I'm only 15, but I'm the kind of guy who isn't afraid to get in a guy's face and fight if I see a guy abusing a lady, even if the guy is a grown man... I've got a lot of respect from the girls at school for that... I always have girls talking to me... about 90% of my friends are girls; and it's 9 times out of 10 for that one reason...

This song is very close to home for me. I wish someone had been there for me. Domestic Violence is a serious matter and is not acceptable in any form. If you are a victim, please seek help and get out.

I like this song. Sounds like something Dolly Parton would write

I wish this song had come out years ago when I needed it. I'm glad it's available now and I sincerely hope that those who find it "all too close to home" really heed the warning and get out while they can. Sometimes you don't "see" the abuse til it turns physical. It can start so subtle, that you blind yourself to it and make all sorts of excuses. It's not til you look back to who you were before that person entered your life, that you see how drastically your life has spiraled.

I can not believe this song has got more notarity... Reminds me a lot of "Hell is for children" by Pat Benetar which was very close to home for me... I am really moved by this song...
im a 15 yr old who did a research debate for a school project this year: my topic was domestic violence, and i was debating against a guy in my class that thought he had a right to smack his wife if she messed up. i used this song as an example and not only did i win the debate by an almost 100% vote, but my principle showed it to the mayor and im supposed to be reading my speech portion of the project in city hall at the opening of a domestic violence support group HQ in a week. truth prevails!

For the women who think that abuse of any kind is normal. Hopefully this song can give you the strength to see it's not, and no woman should ever live that life everyday. There are ways to get out and away. Find them and use them..
