Alfred Lord Tennyson's description of the fatal charge of the Light Brigade during the Battle of Balaklava during the Crimean War in 1854.
A sobering, dark piece that to me speaks for all those that have fallen for the mistakes of others. May they never be forgotten.
First of a series of poetry I will read on Youtube.

  • russian did impossible in this war

  • terrible reading

  • Did not like the reader's voice...

  • There are no poems to the British soldiers under Sevastopol, taught in russian schools)

  • good photography given the equipment.

  • You don't get literature do you?

  • Just 600... Our history books call it just a lucky moment. The whole war was Britain's inituative. The poem's great, but..

Honour to the russian officers and soldiers who foufgt for Sevastopol this year. Many good men were killed during the siege from the russian side. They deserve poems as well...

  • Good emotive reading.
