@niecynoo32 Also, this album, "Gold", has a theme about cities & streets. The 1st song, "New York, New York", the last song, "Goodnight, Hollywood Blvd." (which Jaimie Cullum does an awesome cover of BTW). He goes East to West coast On "Gold", a lot of the songs talk about various places & streets he's been to in the U.S.

You're not alone :) This song speaks to me and it's just a simple song about him leaving California (or something of that nature). Ryan falls in love with the cities and puts them in his songs. That is genuine.
