  • i miss the days of scoring 650+ :P

  • making 400 runs NOT OUT against a strong team like england is better than 380 out against a weak team like zimbabwe , but it was a great performance otherwise, very good indeed

  • @TheGus619 thanks I wasnt sure how do you like WA no Rugby League over there?

  • @18tangles

Its Clarke, but yeah Bluesman still even though I live in WA

  • @TheGus619 Yes he was fearless and not too bad. What I liked about the BLUESMEN Taylor and Clark is they would not go beyond the Dons. The record was there for Clark to take and in 50 yrs they will remember that and not Mattys 380. I still remember Dougie hitting one into the carpark at the SCG and Sobers 165 same place Sobers hit a six out through the gate, great hit. Raised in NSW I have lived in Brisbane for 30 yrs but still a Bluesman. Cannot stand the Qld hype.

  • @18tangles

No NSW, Just liked Hayden because he was so fearless and a great batsman to watch

  • @TheGus619 I do not think so, against weak teams maybe. Bradman had 300 twice, one 300 in a day against England on uncovered pitches, Yeah Hayden was so good he nearly lost his place in the team twice. You wouldn't be a Queenslander by any chance?

  • @18tangles

Lol I think you need to remember who Hayden is, one of the best opening batsmen Australia has ever seen. Even scoring 380 against Zimbabwe is an amazing achievement; in for over 10 hours. If its so easy why don't other teams score 380 against Zimbabwe?

  • @bangladeshiking the argument about it being easier against weaker teams is stupid. If it was that easy why don't more batsmen score 200 or 300+? This is a remarkable achievement. Comparing them is pointless.

  • @Hash1996 You don't need to miss them after yesterday's 659!

  • ...and Zimbabwe never toured Australia again....

  • @bangladeshiking Yeah but staying in too long to break the world record and costing your team an outright win is good cricket? I dont think so....
