@BimmerM5e39 The way you lift the front is just fine, you should raise the rear in the same manner jacking up underneath the rear differential. The top of the jack stands is U-shaped, and once on them car is not goin anywhere. I did my whole suspenson on jack stands, i have some vids posted on here too.
We could spin all the pulleys by hand, but some of them had play and spun uneven.
