T-39 Bogatyr from Battlefield 2142.

One of my recent attempts to composite CGI into real-world footage. I kept it brief because it was intended as a test and nothing more.

A few facts:
- The background plate was captured with a Panasonic HDC-TM200 high-definition camcorder.
- The 3D model is from Battlefield 2142.
- The motion matching was done with SynthEyes.
- The high dynamic range image-based lighting technique was pioneered by Paul Debevec.
- The compositing was all done within 3ds Max 9.
- Premiere Pro CS3 was used to edit and encode the final video.
- Rendering time for the clip's 249 frames was 18 hours, 7 minutes (CPU: Core 2 Quad Q6600).
