My Chilean Rose has the same plastic bark thingy in her enclosure, and she NEVER goes inside, and sits on the top, much like yours in the video... Does yours ever actually hide underneath it?

Beautiful 'T', I have a 3 month old Chilean rose who was so chilled out before he/she molted 3-4 weeks ago, now he/she is very much on edge all the time,no chance of holding at all, it's like it's a different spider. Is this common?

i am certian that your chilean rose is a female she has a rounded andomen and no bulbs ( looks like little boxing gloves lol) and no hooks (spurs) great tarantula mate plus her docile nature is common to rose hair tarantulas there are exceptions like jon 3800 rosie lol but more often they are not aggressive i have 2 rose hairs a mature male and a baby sling my mature male lets me handle him and has never flicked hairs i have vids of them both on my you tube page @ TheSpiderFreaks
