This is a fallacy, when the ball rolls up to the uchannel at any speed the magnetic configuration will pull it up into the smot. I have built numerous devices that shows this to be true. The initial energy required to place the ball in the uchannel is totally
a non issue. I know this goes againt all accepted thinking but so be it.
The question is whether the velocity of the ball at the end of the track is equal to the force required to life the ball and put it in place at the start of the loop. I'm afraid I don't think it is.
