Weston Super Mare sea front

A short video of my hometown Weston Super Mare showing the lack of facilities for tourists!
In the 80's and 90's the Tropicana and the Grand Pier were the main tourist attractions.
Since then the Tropicana has been allowed to become derelict and is no longer open to the public, and the Pier was destroyed by fire.
Combined with the construction work also going on along the sea front there is very little for people to enjoy at this once busy and much loved seaside resort!
Lets hope with time there will be once again a renewed Weston-Super-Mare to its former glory!

@MrNishi yeah your quite right, although with the new pier and modernisation of the sea front etc it MAYBE better!

I remember Weston in the late 70s and early 80s and is was nice and vibrant, I went there recently and foun the place to be a total dump. no disrespect but Weston has fallen on bad times, shame.
