This is the first video I have uploaded to YouTube, taken with my Canon PowerShot A3300IS that I bought with Amazon.com cards I received for Christmas. It is also the first substantial video I've taken with said new camera in it's "Miniature Effect" mode in 1280x720p. This is just my dad and me out for some errands, so I thought it would be a good test of the "Miniature Effect". This effect blurs the top and bottom of the image, supposedly to make scenery look like miniatures. When used while recording a video, it also dramatically speeds up the video and does not record sound. I wasn't very excited about this feature when I read about it in the manual, but I see now that it has the potential to create some interesting time-lapse-ish videos on the fly.

The royalty free music in the video is "Somewhere Sunny (ver 2)" by Kevin MacLeod. I downloaded it from http://incompetech.com/m/c/royalty-free/
