Hand feeding raccoons in my backyard

When we first moved in, the little varments were tipping our trashcans over and putting trash all over the yard, happened every night for almost 2 weeks. Then we started putting scraps out on the back porch. The garbage cans didn't get tipped over anymore. Now, "Tommy" eats very gently out of my hands. You can see he is terratorial, by trying to run off the other raccoon. He climbs up in my lap a couple times.

This is dangerous, and I don't advise anyone try this. These animals can scratch and bite, and can carry diseases. I will start using gloves to feed him, because what I did in this video was stupid, but it was cool though. I don't do this every night, as I don't want the coons to become dependant.
