Cessna Skymaster Gear Cycle

During the 100 hour / Annual inspection of an airplane the landing gear on retractable aircraft must be tested. The aircraft is elevated with hydraulic jacks to allow the wheels to clear the floor. The inspector can then visually see the landing gear cycle up and then back down. This can be very challenging with a Cessna Skymaster. The aircraft has to be raised almost 3 feet of the floor to accommodate clearance for the main landing gear legs. In this operation, the gear pump is detached from the accessory case on the front engine and using a coupler to turn the gear pump with an electric drill.

I'm guessing that in flight, the main gear wheels would retract faster, due to the wind forcing them upwards?

What type of adapter did you use, like a slotted 9/16 socket with a drill adapter?
