If the war in Iraq was supposed to last 6 days, then why the FUCK are we still dicking around over there? With the time we spent in Iraq, we could have very easily captured/killed/tortured bin Laden a trillion times by now.

Well, I'll say this... the war in Iraq is one of the biggest reasons why I'm so wary of politicians now.

1)Why is Saddam an "asshole"? Primarily cause he gassed the Kurds. 2)How did he gas the Kurds? With US weapons, sold to him by Mr. Rumsfeld himself. 3)Why would Iraq be a civil war if we left? The country of Iraq's borders were drawn out based on natural resources, no consideration of history in mind. Containing 3 ever-warring fundamentalist factions, whoever controlled the country politically controlled the oil. If the leader wouldn't cooperate... well look what happened.

Gas Kurds=Ashole yes.The chem sold to them by the US were left over from their war againt Iran which we supported. Your enemies of your enemies are your friends, dummy. If your know history which its sounds like you do not. The Kurds were promised a soveriegn state throught the Treaty of Sevres by President Woodrow Wilson.Soon after turkey, syria, and iran drew borders(not based on natural resources)to claim territory in fear of Wilson to make good on his promise.

And Oil? Why is it that every president since Jimmy Cartet has promised us(Americans) to lower our dependance on forign oil? You are right that Saddam(rest in piss) would not cooperate, so what what is your point iraq produced less than 2% of the worlds oil until 2007 now they have doubled it to 4% WOW!!Trust me it wasnt for oil. Bush called it right AXIS OF EVIL.Iran, North Korea.Sound fimiliar?Watch the news. Now Obama is realizing the reality of the danger of these countries.Stop watching CNN!

This was a Hatfield-McCoy scenario gone wild. WE ARE NOT THE WORLD POLICE. We had no evidence of a nuclear Iraq and the threat of chemical or biological weapons was blown way out of proportion (these weapons are far less effective than implied). We've been meddling in the Middle East for far too long and Obama finally had the balls to tell the truth in Cairo.

I do agree the bio weapons we found in iraq were few and far but Saddam seemed to use them all up on the Kurds when he killed aprox. 80,000 while America stood by and offered harsh words. Someone has to step up and slap the bully around it might as well be us. Besides all you youtube tough guys are the same...typing like a bunch of idiots about shit you havnt lived. Go watch fox or cnn and get some more WMD quotes...lol Typing tough guy...lol

Are you advocating for an intervention in Darfur then? Not sure where I'm going with that, just curious more than anything.

Also, we found a few chemical weapons. We found stuff like Sarin, which is deadly, but it's WWII technology with a short shelf life, and what we found wasn't exactly a stockpile. A chemical/biological bomb's effectiveness can be ruined by a little wind (suicide vests are often more effective and cheaper). Saddam was a dick, but he was pretty low on the threat scale.
