@1337pede Really, it is located in Estonia? I had no idea. Kinda would have expected it to be in Brussel or somewhere like that.
-
@Alagremm It hasn't been exploited so far. Traditional voting, however, very much.
Why is it so that only Estonia uses it? It's because Estonia is small enough to do this without having a major threat of someone taking advantage of this system and because Estonian cyber-protection is far more advanced. The NATO's cyberdefence HQ is stationed in Estonia.

good for you..

@Alagremm I've been to Estonia many times. I've seen most of the cities and small villages etc. The people of Estonia are a sensible people whom take pride in their advancements. Internet voting just comes naturally to them. It's a byproduct of the country's current direction. It's all part of the "new north" attitude. Paper ballot voting and wages by cheque are something for Russians and Americans.

@sonbuhitsunei Say ''South of Finland'' It's more accurate.

@z34th0x I know and I live in America... But then, my family on mom's side came from Estonia lol Tallinn to be exact, and I think Tartu for some. But yes... Most Americans have no clue- so I just say "right next to Russia"
This comment has received too many negative votes show
Sad fact - the Internet voting, mentioned in this video, is in fact, really the only one in the world. But not because other countries arent advanced enough to make it. The thing is, such coutnries as USA, England, France, e.t.c. have thought of using this system, but have proven that it is too easy to exploit it, hence why they never used it. And with recent votes in Estonia, the question if the Internet voting is truly safe, has risen again.
