The annual SCA Scottish Surf Kayak Championships 2010.
This year saw the annual SSKC held at Thurso. It was my first time in a proper Surfing long boat [the 'Mega' Cyclone], which was a massive step up from my Wavesport ZG [red boat]. So there were alot of capsize and rolls, I thought I'd leave in all the capsizes.
I won :-
Junior (SHORT) - 2nd
Junior (LONG) - 2nd
Novice (LONG) - 4th

Good stuff man. Im going for the novice section this year. Only ever surfed a Playboat so should test my rolling also! :) Hope you are still surfing!..
ohh and Mr surfer who slags of 'Goboaters' come over to Skaill beach in Orkney on a 3 meter swell and lets see who catches most waves...

@orkcooper Yeah this will be the first year I have got a proper surf boat for the champs, my trusty Wavesport ZG has done me well up until now. It is really different in a surf kayak.

From looking at your profile you're obviously a surfer for what ever reason doesnt like, kayakers.
I am the only one in this video and im just a beginner to kayak surfing and have only competed properly once. SSKC has some of the worlds best kayakers attending, all of which are probably 10x as good as you are at surfing. So know what your talking about before you go commenting on peoples videos
