About 1,200 people attended the Murray Darling Basin Authority (MDBA) consultation sessions in Mildura, Irrigator groups filled the 1,000 seats inside the meeting venue.
200 people listened on speakers outside.
Protesters set up outside the venue, with trucks bearing placards parked behind a group of growers burning dead grapevines and burning teh draft plans in a BBQ.
Irrigators and politicians vented their desperation at the MDBC representatives, the day was completed with a ceremonial sinking of the plan in concrete gum boots into the adjacent River Murray.
This clip was cut from the O-Line Video/Media file tape, of that event.
