The problem with me agreeing with you "Islam is an extra bad relgion" people, is that there is nothing you can say about Islam that you can't say about Christianty. you sem to me misplacing a few sects here, catholocism is by far and away NOT christian. it is psuedo christian, but has been grafted with roman paganism. and all protestants come from catholics, so they can't really be counted either. look at who they tortured..not just muslims and witches, they tortured and killed millions of bible believing christians as well, anyone who didn't go along with their specific dogma, which is pagan at it roots

any religion is ripe for inspiring violence in the mind of any person weak enough to accept something as true based on emotion. when people list the benefits religion has on mankind they are pointing out the results of positive and constructive human emotions, conversely, when people point out all the negitive things done in the name of relgion, they are only observing the dark side of human nature. your giving in to the insanity when you let one blame their religion or their actions.

true enough any religion can be twisted into promoting warlike tendancies, but as far as i know, the Qur'an is the only "holy" text that advocates ongoing wars throughout all time.

my old testament does not say that we should convert or kill all non-believers. the qur'an however does. the hate come from the religion, the direction of the hate comes from Western actions. you know bombing, threatening, meddling and the like. if it weren't for how the mid-east has been treated the west for the past what? 150 years or so? that same hate would be directed at the bhuddists and hinduists in the far east. that is how it went before the West interfered, anyway

yeah I've heard all the born again propaganda before, it's kind of like moderate muslims saying that Bin laden is not a true muslim, the problem is when you believe i something not based on facts or logic, there is no way to reconcile truth. religous folks deserve each other, it's institutionalized insanity for a society to give religion any consideration in public policy.
