Yes, of course, and one of her favourite granddaughters.

Alix was the daugher of the Alice, the 3rd child of Victoria and Albert, who married with a Germany Prince, later, Grand Duke of Hesse : Ludwig IV.

I read some books. My favourite book is NICHOLAS AND Alexandra, by Robert Massie. But I think Henry Troyat is an excelent writter too
