  • Outlook client can work on a GroupWise back-end. The problem is that the CEO is not an educated user. They are usually just like a regular user in a position of power, and they look at IT as a cost center, not profit center. So they look down on the techies and what they have to say. So this conversation is aimed at an "informed' consumer, but the user making the decision already has their mind made up before hearing any logical arguments. Can't argue with somebody that already has made up.

  • it's a shame that this is aimed at IT people, and it's the marketing people and CIO's that don't listen to this. they have a follow the herd mentality. If anybody thought about it, Novell wouldn't be in the position it is in today

  • Simplemente una mierda ese producto de Novell.

Exchange se lo lleva de encuentro, ademas el cliente Outlook es mucho mejor que la basura de clietne de GroupWise.

  • I posted previous comment before I listened from 9:00 onwards. Fuck I'd hate to end up next to him at a wedding table.

  • Hears a new term for your future presentations when referring to groupwise. POC= Pile of Crap.

No hacker is interested in writing exploits for software that nobody uses which is just as well because its nearly impossible to write any application using novells "published" grouwpsie api's.

  • The GroupWise Outlook Connector is not being updated. Instead, Novell has apparently decided that they need to put their developers on better projects such as ActiveSync and improving the GroupWise product.

  • Dear God, please be a bullet in the chamber!
