Just sayin, his car looks like the pizza-planet truck from Toy Story! haha now that I got that out of the way, I would just like to say that Jamie Oliver you are a hero! I never thought that anyone would stand up against America to stop obesity and I am absolutely ELATED that you are doing what you are doing here in America and I have one request:PLEASE COME TO ELKO MIDDLE SCHOOL, VA! those lunches you showed that the elementary schoolers ate is what my school lunches look like..they're HORRIBLE!

@carolinemerald77 watch the British version and see what you think then
note the uncontrolled displays of human emotion
note the lack of big splashy dances and contests appearing suddenly as if conjured by wizards
note the appearance on the show of some of the people other than Jamie who work very hard to make the show
these are signs of a real story being told rather than a fake one
this show edits out very much important detail in favor of trivial spectacle
it's sugary, processed entertainment

@Bananadine Edited - as shows have to be - but not fake - no way.

Asking hospital managers who get most of their income from unhealthy fat fucks for money to make the same fat fucks healthy is just absurd ;D

@wjb722 and its amazing how the goody it made to look like the baddy...he surely was in this mission with all his heart or otherwise he would be out of it long time...and blaming him for the statistics is a way of saying we dont care about outr weight instead of being a wake-up call!

well, woman, you ARE the fattest city in the fattest country in the world.

Wow, they are all so pissed and try to negate the obvious facts. Does it even matter if it's accurate to say that Huntington is the fattest city in America? Fact is, they need help. Fact is, a lot of sick and fat people live there. They better be grateful!

@Misstorys so true!!! the cost for the health system will be unbearable
Jamie has such a positive outlook on life. What a wonderful person to come into a town with no friends or family and is willing to help them with their problems even when they give him the cold shoulder. I think everyone could learn from Jamie Oliver. He is truly a hero.

someone else may have said it before, I didn't read all the comments, but does anyone else notice how Jamie is getting blamed for saying Huntington is the fattest city in the U.S.? He just quoted government statistics! It wasn't any kind of "opinion" or "generalization" on his part.
