Last month, the Lunar Reconnaissance Orbiter launched to the Moon. It is a precursor mission to sending humans back to the Moon - permanently, this time! (as in rotating crews like the ISS)

It's also carrying a very interesting "secondary" mission called LCROSS (Lunar CRater Observation and Sensing Satellite), which will help answer the question "Is there water on the Moon?", which has the potential to be an invaluable resource for future lunar missions.

This video is compiled from two press briefs, which covered both LRO and LCROSS. This video focuses on LCROSS.

  • @TheShinkoShowLSD Hehe! Is it a "conspiracy" again? Damn those evil scientists with their fancy highschool diplomas! They're all conspiring, evil monsters! : )

  • Is real ironic. Some old scifi movies from the 50s and 60s mentioned ice on the moon. Talk about prophetic.

  • @20324758 i pretty much know life is abundant, life is everywhere, one day mankind will find out that we have been lied to for a long long time...sorry to say you were wrong,i meant more on the lines of, there is more chances than not that there is life there. it is much more to it than a dead body in space, this is what we are suppose to believe...btw, a dead body use to be alive , wonder if something is still there...probably so

  • @witecracker2 what do you know about life?

  • @20324758 wrong. try life

  • everyone likes to blow stuff up.. why not NASA?

  • WHAT 9,000!? THERES NO WAY THAT CAN BE RIGHT!!!

  • @nightmathzombieethan

The funny this is, is that NASA uses military technology and the military uses NASA technology.
