  • I have a late model 2011 macbook pro...

    intel core 2.2ghz I7 sandybridge

    Radeon 6750HD 1 gig gddr5

    4 gig gddr ram

and the game sill has performance issues........ no matter the settings Iam getting 60 fps with vsync on to clamp it. other wise in a 10 sec period the fps will range from 140-2 fps.... The game has severe programming issues, even people with high end gaming rigs are getting problems . Doesnt help that AMD has not released a new graphics driver since jan 2011... for bootcamp.

  • @Jaizo78 You need to update your amd drivers because the one provided by boot camp is old.

  • What setting for the game

  • @2numbboy Texture setting on medium and everything els set on high. 1440 x 900 resolution. I used fraps to record. Whilst i wasn't recording the lowest my fps got to was 25 and highest was around 45. The game runs smooth on this laptop.

  • @TheRealRhero For swtor it's not gonna cut it. If you want to game on a mac I would suggest getting the 15" macbook pro with at least the amd radeon hd 6750, to get any decent gameplay for swtor.

  • @TheRealRhero macs run WoW like champs, bootcamping my laptop this weekend so i can play swtor

  • is this running on the 13" late-2011 MBP or 15"?

  • @frankbiza how do i do that, i have checked amd's website and the only "bootcamp" driver for windows 7 32-bit is from january 2011. You can't simply download the windows based driver from and.com it will not work.

  • so i just bought fusion 4 for my mac do you know if fusion is good or if it will not work well

  • is it any good

  • @gutenmuach Its because the 13inch model mbp do not have a dedicated graphics card.

  • @frankbiza I am experiencing a very laggy gameplay running swtor on windows 7 bootcamp-ed, i reckon fps of around 5-10. I have the MBP 13inch early 2011, I wonder if it's my internet or is there update that I need to download for the graphics card or I need more harddisk space, currently have 15GB free (after copying this freaking big game).
