Why can't you like THe Edge and SRV without comparing them? THey are both so different but both so awesome in their own ways. I love em both!

SRV, great guitar player...but a shit songwriter. That's what I called a one-dimensional musician.
U2, great song, great guitar, great lyrics & great band too. That's what real band should be.....
not just a bloody Jimi Hendrix wannabe...Btw, if u ever listened to Hendrix & SRV record side-by-side....you can tell straight away what a poor effort they have done to record SRV music....SRV backing band obviously is just a good pub band lol.....while The Experience are legend!!!

@t7140 Different styles dude.. SRV was the front man too.. everything was about him attention wise.. but the edge is a side man, supporting bono!!.. The edge is epic, very unique.. U2 wouldn't be the greatest band in the word for the last 25 years without his talent!!
