The original of this song actually stems and was partly written by an accomplished singer called Jennifer Rush who outsold George Michael and Tin Turner in the mid to late 80ies.

"The Power Of Love" was the biggest selling female single in the UK until Leona Lewis topped it with "Bleeding Love" in 2007/08.
