ABOUT MOVIE-

Farah Khan is once again back with her directorial venture, Tees Maar Khan starring Akshay Kumar and Katrina Kaif. This time, the director is trying to bring something unique; firstly an item song by Katrina Kaif, followed by involving Salman Khan in an item song, and then asked Sonu Nigam to sing a same song in 54 voices.
Apparently, the singer has not only sung the song in different male voices but also in female voices. Sonu says about his track,
Yes, that is true. I have sung the title track of Tees Maar Khan in 54 voices. Maintaining a consistency in the voice and the pitch which is not yours can be very tedious."
Surprisingly, this was not Farah's idea but it was her husband, Shirish's idea to merge all versions together. The singer, says,
"After I recorded several versions, it was difficult to choose any one. So Shirish incorporated all of them in one song. I am the chorus as well as the singer for this one, and all have still managed to sound different."
The singer apart from singing in several female voices has sung the song with a Japanese, Spanish, Arabic, French and several such accents.
"But the one I enjoyed the most was singing in Akshay's (Kumar) voice. In fact, I sound so much like him that even Farah couldn't make out the difference."
When asked with Sonu is he thinking to send in the book of records, he said,
"Well, we hadn't recorded the song with that in mind, but now that we have done it; I think Farah and Shirish are considering sending it for the record books. I don't think any singer has done that before on the big screen, so yes, I will keep my fingers crossed for this one."
