Her colleagues LOVE working with her as, despite being a huge star, she's never lost the sense of being a "gypsy" ... no diva strops, just solid, hard work and dedication. She's amongst the last of the all-time greats ... who do we have to replace the likes of Chita when she finally hangs up her toe shoes? These clips remind us of what a truly wonderful artist she is.

Watching Chita perform was truly magical, she's an astonishing performer and held me completely spellbound...I would dearly love to see her perform again.

God, I adore her - this show was one of the best things I'd ever seen on Bway - wished it had a longer run - was privileged to meet a few of the dancers too, all amazing, great people.. Chita is My Goddess!!
PS if u have any clips from when Dick Van Dyke made an appearance (on her birthday, in the NY run) that would be fun! The house erupted when he came out from behind that scrim, saying "well i don't know about that".. and then danced with Chita while singing "Everything is Rosie" - :-)

What a shame that this show was such a mess given it's GREAT star and great material to work from. But when you have a mediocre director and songwriting team [who wrote new, crappy material] unworthy of her talent...

I saw her. She was good. for a 65yr old woman shes' good.
