At Fat Peshe's, Mottel is as hungry as ever, and so cleverly devises a way to harvest apples from Dr. Menashe's garden (knowing the good doctor would approve, but also knowing Mrs. Menashe would certainly not). Caught in the act, Mottel goes back home where his mother can keep better track of him. Adapted for the stage by Thomas W. Olson and Judith Luck Sher. Directed by Jon Cranney. Music Composed and Directed by Alan Shorter. Commissioned and first presented by The Children's Theatre Company of Minneapolis, MN, 1986. Featuring Leslye Orr as Mrs. Menashe; Macalester Bell, John Greenwood, Eric Haugee, Nathan Kokernot, Angela Lundberg, Molly Rosen, Heather Smith as Children.
