the first time i heard this song i was sitting in the car with my dad, we were talking about (of all things) my sexuality but the song comes on and the conversation just stops dead. We both sat in silence and just listened. It was one of the most amazing moments of my life honestly. so amazing so powerful. After hearing the song literally the next day i bought the cd. I've listened to this cd like 100 all the way through, every car trip.

When I was a little kid this was my favourite song. I mean like, really little kid, I was about 3-4 and my dad used to play Counting crows in the car I would always ask for 'Badabadada song' (because of the begging). When my dad and my mum split up I didn't really get much time with my dad so I didn't listen to Counting Crows. This is the first time I've heard this song in 11-10 years and listening to the words and understanding all of them is amazing. Still my favourite song, thankyou Daddy:)
