Inspired by the Academy Award-winning hit movie, Slumdog Millionaire, Portland-based kid bands Still Pending and Blind Einstein, along with special guests Social Appetite and The Vibrations are hosting a concert to benefit Mercy Corps programs for children around the world. When the staff at McMenamins caught wind of this great event, they graciously offered to host it at the Crystal Ballroom. At least 50% of ticket sales (only $10!) for this great, family-friendly event will go directly to Mercy Corps. The more people who turn out for the event, the higher this percentage will go! This will be a rockin' fun show for the entire family, all for a great cause. Come out and show your support to these amazing kids in their efforts to give something back with their music. Visit www.kidsrock4kids.org for more info.

  • Reed and Grant are fucking little dicks. "oh yeah, i went to china" "yup i was in mexico" alright guys, we know you have rich families and can afford great music equipment and trips around the world. You made that benefit show about you because you thought you were better then Blind Einstein, Social Appetite or the Vibrations. I say, fuck your huge egos.

  • @spateeight well at least they're doing their bit, started up a band and doing great things for other people, much like Rage Against The Machine, who donated their profits from their Christmas Number 1 2009 to charities in the US. History never remembers the nice guys(with exception like SIr Stirling Moss, besides the point), but they will be remembered by the kids they help. I can't see you doing anything but sit on a computer and talk shit on kids that are trying to make a difference

  • Look at the fuckin dork with the glasses on the top right. 2:09. Seriously who the fuck is he. Npbody thats who. Doesnt have a clue wot the fuck hes talkin about. Fuckin Dink.

  • Wow! ye are so full of shit. Youre so condascending. Oh look at the kids in china. Were so privileged . We are inspired by slumdog millionaire. YOure are actually so fuckin gay. You talk about rock n roll. Youre nobodies. Nothin Historical about what you fags do. Daddys money can buy you lessons but it cant buy you a career. Seriously your shit heads. "How can I help these kids" Drop the act you poofters.

  • aw thats so sweet of them
