  • great explanation men!!! can i use cubase sx 5 instead of audacity?

  • @sobr32xiswcp You can use any software you choose. You'll just need to select the USB interface in your software's preferences. I used Audacity for this setup because it's free and easy to use. Good luck!

  • wth

  • @glagos100 wth?

  • I am looking to do solo podcasting to see if I like it or not and I bought a behringer podcastudio for $87 on Amazon. It comes with the 502 and it works just fine. I do have a question though man....do I have to pay to have my podcasts on the internet? I have a wordpress blog and was hoping to post them there without going through iTunes or anything. Any help or info? Thanks for the video!

  • @SainteLincoln86 I made a short video showing you the basics. If you go to my videos you see it there titled, "Using PodPress with Wordpress" Let me know if it helps.

  • Man, this is the best tutorial I have seen on how to do a Podcast, after hours of searching the internet and confusing stupid unorganized videos, I am grateful I found this video.

    Thank you so much.

  • @SainteLincoln86 you could always try soundcloud. you can upload there maybe? although i do know you are restricted to how much you can upload before you have to pay for more upload space. im just starting out as well and i did see that package you are referring to. ive chosen the m-audio podcast studio to start me off as i picked it up for £27.00 on Ebay.

  • amazing information

  • check out my setup at tiny.cc / theedj

  • That's a good starter package. You'll have a lot of fun with it. As long as you have a self-hosted version of Wordpress you won't have to pay anything more than your annual web hosting fee. Use Podpress. It's a Wordpress plugin that has every feature you could need to get your stuff online with a bonus of being able to use it to submit your podcast to iTunes and other popular podcast directories. Podpress is free. (I might do a short video on installing and using it) Good luck with your podcast!
