Look, if Neil wasn't madly impressed by her cover of his song, that is a bit sad but he has a right to his opinion but, having said that, just maybe he would agree that she didn't completely butcher it and gave it a different dimension,

@dossery100 If he felt that strongly (badly) about her recording it he could easily have given the proceeds to charity. Otherwise, he should have said nothing. like a true professional.KR's

@dossery100 Where's the hypocrasy? He wrote the song. He should receive any and all royalties. He obviously feels luke warm about her covering the song. Ask Susan or her handlers if she feels like sending all the proceeds from this one cover back to Neil. That would be a nice gesture.

@sethqat What he was saying was that once an artist writes and releases their music (their children) the artist can't pick and choose who can do a cover version of it.
